Panajia’s Eighth Goal the Difference in 1-0 Victory

Giuseppe Panajia (Glastonbury) scored his team leading eighth goal 26 minutes into the second half to break a scoreless tie as Manchester CC (13-1) hung on to beat Bunker Hill CC 1-0 Saturday afternoon in Boston.

Hami Kara (Wethersfield/13 saves) blocked a penalty kick 20 minutes into the game as MCC recorded its eleventh shut out of season. Joe Parsons had three saves for Bunker Hill (6-5). Ken Rossignol (Manchester)and Tony Scotti (Bristol) assisted on the game’s only goal.
