MCC’s Men’s Soccer Team Advances to National Tournament

Manchester, CT ( November 7, 2011)… The Manchester Community College Men’s Soccer Team advanced to the NJCAA DIII National Championships with a victory over Bunker Hill Community College on Wednesday night. Manchester Community College went on to defeat Mass Bay Community College on Saturday in the first round of the Region 21 Tournament, hosted at Manchester Community College.

The Men’s Soccer Team advances to the National Tournament for the third time in the history of the program. Head Coach Jim Insinga has led the Cougars for the past 12 seasons. For additional information contact Cynthia Washburne, Director of Student Life, at 860-512-3353.
