MCC’s Free Career Services Workshops Open to the Community
MANCHESTER, Conn. (September 10, 2018) – Manchester Community College’s upcoming career services workshops are open to all current and former students, alumni and the general public. The workshops – focused on resume building and interviewing skills — are free.
There are several sessions of the workshops being offered this fall, beginning Tuesday, September 25. This “Effective Resume Writing” workshop, conducted by MCC Director of Career Services and Veterans Affairs Julie Greene, will provide information on the skills and strategies needed to develop a resume that gets positive response from employers.
The workshop will be repeated Tuesdays, October 16, 30 and November 13.
Greene will also conduct “Interviewing Tips” on Tuesday, October 2. This workshop will cover the various stages of the interviewing process. Job seekers will gain insight into frequently asked interview questions and other tips that can help lead to a successful interview.
This workshop will be repeated Tuesdays, October 23 and November 6 and 20.
