MCC’s Annual “Big Draw” Community Arts Event Invites Public to Scribble on College Walls

MANCHESTER, Conn. (February 28, 2018) – Manchester Community College will hold its annual “Big Draw” community arts event on Thursday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the SBM Charitable Foundation building, outside the Visual Fine Arts studios in the D-E hallway. The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in West Lot.

This year’s theme is “Look for the Good.” The popular “Big Draw” welcomes everyone – regardless of their artistic talent – to drop by and add a drawing, scribble, favorite saying, or just a mark. Large sheets of drawing paper and drawing materials will be supplied. No experience is necessary. Just come and draw together with your community. There will be snacks and pizza, as well.

For more information, contact Associate Professor Patricia Carrigan via email at pcarrigan@manchestercc.edu; or call 860-512-2695.

This event is partially sponsored by the MCC Foundation and the Cultural Programs Committee.
