MCC Women start season with road victory Saturday; shut out at home on Sunday
Freshman Michelle Magora (Fermi/Enfield) scored the first goal of the season 13 minutes into a 4-1 MCC victory over Bristol CC Saturday afternoon in Fall River, MA.
Former Enfield High teammates Brittany Kaplan and Ilyssa Riley, along with Lindsay Estok (Middletown), also scored for the Cougars . Estok, the only returning sophomore from Coach Alex Calpa’s 16-3 team last fall, added an assist. Fernanda Herrera (Manchester) assisted on Kaplan’s goal.
