MCC to Offer Two Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Program Information Sessions in April
MANCHESTER, Conn. (April 4, 2022) – Manchester Community College will offer two online information sessions in April for students interested in enrolling in the college’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management program.
The first information session is on Wednesday, April 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will also be a session on Wednesday, April 20, also from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It is not necessary to attend both sessions, but registration is required. Visit www.manchestercc.edu/info.
MCC offers three degrees and three certificates in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality program. Students can pursue associate degrees in culinary arts, foodservice management and hotel-tourism management. Certificates in culinary arts, hotel-tourism and professional baker are also available. Both the culinary arts and foodservice management associate in science degree programs have been granted exemplary status by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF). This distinction is a guarantee to students that their program has met or exceeded the standards set by the ACF Accrediting Commission and the foodservice industry. Graduates from this program may apply to the American Culinary Federation (ACF) to become a Certified Cook, a nationally recognized certification.
The information session will start in the Cheney Dining Room on the second floor of the Student Services Center; a tour will be included. Attendees will learn about program options in culinary arts and hospitality management. There will be plenty of time to answer questions.
