MCC Sweeps Season Series From Holyoke CC

HOLYOKE, MA – Albert Shakhnazarov (West Hartford), Eric Trazinski (East Granby) and Robert Umunakwe (West Hartford) each scored as Manchester CC (8-2) beat Holyoke 3-1 Thursday afternoon.

Trazinski’s team leading sixth goal broke a 1-1 tie in the 67th minute as MCC beat HCC (4-5)and swept the season series with a pair of 3-1 victories. Holyoke’s Joe Lisella opened the scoring with a goal ten minutes into the game before Shakhnazarov tied it up in the 31st minute.

Bryant Bermudez (East Hartford) assisted on the first two MCC goals and Tony Ettore (Plainville) made three saves as MCC improved to 7-0 in NJCAA, Region21 division play.

MCC hosts Bunker Hill Saturday and ASA institute on Monday. Both games start at 2PM
