MCC Students Sponsor Movie Matinee to Commemorate Halloween Classic

MANCHESTER, Conn. (October 15, 2018) – Just in time for Halloween. Manchester Community College’s ICE TV Club commemorates the 50th anniversary of a favorite among horror movie fans, “Night of the Living Dead,” Monday, October 22, from 3:30 to 5:45 p.m. in Great Path Community Commons.

The matinee is open to the public. Admission is free, but moviegoers are encouraged to bring a can/box of food to support MCC’s onsite food pantry.

This unique matinee includes a special post-film discussion of the black and white classic from 1968. MCC’s own horror movie expert, Instructor Robert Brandt of the Communication department, will lead the discussion beginning at 5:15 p.m.

About ICE TV Club

ICE TV Club invites students who are interested in learning and practicing TV production, video film making and editing, acting, and behind-the-scenes work of student-led creative video projects, both on- and off-campus. Regardless of skill level, this fun, interactive club encourages students to explore creativity, new friendships and visible results.
