MCC on Main Events for July

Manchester, Connecticut (June 13, 2012)… MCC on Main, Manchester Community College’s Arts and Education Center, has scheduled the following events for the month of July.

Friday, July 13
Gena Glickman, President of Manchester Community College will present a talk entitled “Responding to MCC’s Community Needs” from 11:30 a.m.to 1 p.m. The talk will be held in Seminar Room 1. Fee: $5.00, registration is required. Call 860-512-3232.

MCC Fine Arts Faculty Exhibition will hold an opening reception from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Rahsaan Langley Project featuring R&B, Neo- Soul Motown music will play from 7:00 p.m.to 10 p.m. in the Gallery.

Friday, July 20
Trainwreck presents American folk/country music from 7:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Gallery.

Sunday, July 22
Zumba with Eve Ann Mazur from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. in Seminar Room 1. Walk in fee is $8.00 or purchase a Zumba punch card ($60 for 10 sessions). To purchase a punch card contact jbritton@manchestercc.edu.

Tuesday, July 24
Ballroom Dancing ll will be held six Tuesdays 7/24-8/28 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in Seminar Room 1. This is a Continuing Education course. The fee is $90 per person. Instructor is Beverly Burton. Registration is required. Call 860-512-3232.

Friday, July 27
Nutrition and Weight Loss Seminar with MCC Alumnus Marc Cottrell’91. The seminar will be offered from 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and will meet in Seminar Room 1. Fee:$20. Registration is required. Go to elite.physiques7@gmail.com.

Black Cadillac presents acoustic roots folk/fock/country originals from 7:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Gallery.
