MCC Offers STEM Degrees and Certificates; Apply Now for Spring 2021 Semester

MANCHESTER, Conn.  (October 22, 2020) – Students interested in degrees and certificates that lead to jobs in growth industries are encouraged to enroll in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) courses at Manchester Community College. MCC’s Spring 2021 semester begins Friday, January 22. New students can get started online at www.manchestercc.edu/enrollment.

MCC STEM programs include associate in science degrees – and certificates that require fewer credit hours – in areas of health and life sciences; engineering, technology and physical sciences; mathematics; and precision manufacturing. The 24-week precision manufacturing certificate program has cohorts that start and complete throughout the year, for those looking for an accelerated path into the workforce.

For more information and to view details on the individual programs, visit www.manchestercc.edu/stem. Registration is open now for new, transfer and continuing students.

Many of MCC’s STEM disciplines are linked to Connecticut State Colleges and University (CSCU) pathway transfer programs so that students planning to continue on to higher degrees can transfer to a senior institution almost seamlessly.

In addition, MCC’s relationship with the CSCU College of Technology (COT) provides career pathways for students to earn certificates, and associate and bachelor’s degrees in engineering and technology disciplines. COT reduces barriers to education by providing a seamless articulation between the community colleges and the four-year partner universities. Visit www.ct.edu/cot.
