MCC Offers Security Officer Training Certification Course

Manchester Community College’s Continuing Education Division offers a credit-free programs course for security guard training certification that is completed in just one day-long session. The class will be held Tuesday, August 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students also have the option to include the beginning of the required finger-printing process at no additional charge as part of the classroom training. Once certified, students of this entry-level course can seek employment as a security guard and gain income and experience in the criminal justice field. The course is also suited to people seeking a part time or flexible work schedule that may include overnight shifts.
