MCC Launches Speakers’ Bureau Program for Community

Manchester, CT – (July 19, 2007) . . . Need a speaker for an upcoming event? Manchester Community College has launched its Speakers’ Bureau program, a free community service that offers informative and timely programs and presentations for community groups, civic organizations, local schools, and businesses.

The Speakers’ Bureau features a wide array of MCC faculty and staff volunteers knowledgeable in various areas of expertise. Community groups and local businesses can select from an extensive list of subjects and topics for upcoming annual meetings, events, seminars, workshops or networking opportunities. Sample topics include: career exploration, fundraising, changes in higher education, effective communications, communicating with people with disabilities, diversity, health and wellness, Black history and literature, business and leadership, culinary arts and many others.
