MCC Holding Free Disabilities Specialist Program Information Session November 30
MANCHESTER, Conn. (November 17, 2021) – Manchester Community College will hold a free online information session Tuesday, November 30, from 4 to 5 p.m., for students interested in the Disabilities Specialist program.
Students interested in a career working with people with disabilities are invited to attend. The program coordinator will present information on the program and its classes, and possible pathways after graduation.
The MCC Disability Specialist program emphasizes the unique gifts and skills that people with disabilities, regardless of their age, bring to society. Its underlying philosophy is the belief that people with disabilities are an integral part of any and all communities.
Course work prepares students to assist children and adults with disabilities to realize their potential and achieve goals of inclusion and participation.
