MANCHESTER, Conn. (July 29, 2021) – Manchester Community College Foundation has received a $40,000 grant from the Paul L. Jones Trust to support the college’s Health Careers programs.
The grant, to be managed by MCC Foundation, supports activities within the Health Careers programs such as background checks and CPR training, national credentialing reviews and study guides, licensure exams and even support for student attendance at professional conferences. The Paul L. Jones Trust was established in 1979 to assist higher-education institutions in Connecticut with students interested in medical and health-related fields.

MCC students interested in the Dental Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Radiation Therapy, Radiography, Respiratory Care or Surgical Technology programs are required to fill out a separate Health Career programs application. The application and instructions for completing it can be found here.
Attendance at a Health Careers information session is also required before the program application deadline. Session dates are listed on each program page.
MCC CEO Nicole Esposito said, “Our partnership with the trust, which is now in its fifth year, is integral to fund and support initiatives in our Health Careers programs. We are very grateful for this continued support.”
