MCC Foundation Announces Leadership Appointments at MCC on Main

The MCC Foundation has appointed Michele Colletti program director and Emily Martin program coordinator at the Manchester Community College Arts and Education Center, also known as MCC on Main.

MCC on Main occupies 7,000 square feet of renovated, modern space adjacent to a core block of businesses on Main Street in the Manchester Special Services District. It houses an art and video gallery, an entrepreneurship center, a small cafe with wi-fi access and seminar and conference rooms for classes and event-related programming.

Colletti is responsible for the overall management of MCC on Main and the successful operation of educational and cultural programs there. She provides oversight of business operations and community engagement; fundraising and budget management; administrative support; program administration; and partnership development.

She joined MCC on Main after serving as executive director of the Farmington Valley Arts Center. Prior to that, she was the founder and CEO of Footlights, Inc., a free after school performing arts program for Hartford at-risk youth. She holds a master of arts in liberal studies from Wesleyan University, a bachelor of arts from Eastern Connecticut State University, and is an alumna of Manchester Community College.

Martin is responsible for planning, development and facilitation of culturally relevant and engaging programming, as well as the scheduling of MCC-sponsored programs such as continuing education workshops, gallery shows and installations and division/department meetings. She also coordinates events with MCC’s community partners in the facility. Martin holds a bachelor of science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
