MCC Features Student Talent in Online Winter Arts Festival
MANCHESTER, Conn. (February 2, 2021) – Manchester Community College is featuring work by its talented art and music students in an online Winter Arts Festival. The artwork is available for viewing here.
MCC’s annual festival — showcasing visual art works and musical performances by students — traditionally takes place on campus, with the artwork hanging in exhibition in the Hans Weiss Newspace Gallery. It is being given special treatment on the college’s website while the campus is closed to the public due to the ongoing pandemic.
Virtual visitors to this year’s festival will see recorded musical performances by the MCC Madrigal Ensemble, as well as solo performances in classical and bass guitar, piano and voice. Visual artwork includes 2D design, ceramics, computer graphics drawing, painting and photography.
