MCC Credit Free Programs Welcomes Real Estate Law Instructor

Manchester, Conn. (July 20, 2015) –Manchester Community College welcomes Lucy Michaud, J.D. , as instructor of Real Estate Law in the division of Continuing Education. Michaud comes to MCC with experience as a transactional attorney and she also teaches at the Center for Real Estate at the UConn School of Business. She is the liaison to the Department of Consumer Protection as well as an instructor for the Connecticut Real Estate Educators.

“Students are motivated to learn when the practical application of the subject is brought to their attention,” Michaud said of teaching real estate law. “I encourage the students to voice their opinions on legal issues in the classroom.”

The Real Estate Law course at MCC will begin Monday, September 14, and be held successive Monday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for a total of twelve sessions. The course is one of two courses that will prepare licensed agents to sit for the broker exam.  To register, reference CRN 31957.

Agents who would like to complete the required courses this fall to sit for the broker exam can also register for “Basic Appraisal Procedures.” The course will begin Wednesday, September 16, and be held successive Wednesday evenings from 6 to 10 p.m. for a total of nine sessions.
