MCC Competition Cooking Team Tests Recipes at Gourmet Dinner
On December 6, the MCC Competition Cooking Team put on a seven course Classic Gourmet Dinner in the Culinary Arts Center. The event is a fund-raiser for the competition team,a menu preview and a practice session. The culinary team is preparing for the regional competition in Columbus, Ohio in March.
Glenn Lemaire presided as the evening’s sommielier and selected a different wine to accompanpy six of the meal’s seven courses.
The members of the culinary team led a big group of other MCC culinary arts students who decorated tables, cooked the meal and served the food and wine.
