MCC Announces Next Event in “Beer, Burgers and Managing Your Bucks” Series
The next “Beer, Burgers and Managing Your Bucks” event on February 11, from 6 to 8 p.m., will feature guest speaker Adam McLaughlin, senior vice president, senior relationship manager, Webster Bank, East Hartford.
McLaughlin will focus on the importance of working with centers of influence (bankers, accountants and attorneys) and will provide insight on how to make a business “bankable” – and what that means from a banking perspective.
“Beer, Burgers and Managing Your Bucks” is held monthly at MCC on Main, 903 Main Street, Manchester. Admission is $5, and there is free on-street parking. For more information, call 860-647-6030.
McLaughlin holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Springfield College and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. He worked at GMAC Financial Services in Manchester, N. H., from 2000 to 2002 when he joined Webster Bank as a portfolio manager. He served as relationship manager before being named to his current position.
In addition, McLaughlin is treasurer of Leadership Greater Hartford, since 2008, and has served as vice chair of the Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (HYPE) ambassador committee. He currently serves as 2015 chair of HYPE. He was named to Connecticut magazine’s “40 under 40” list in 2011, and Hartford Business Journal’s “40 under 40” in 2014.
