MCC Announces Fall 2015 Scholarship Recipients

Manchester, Conn. (August 3, 2015) – The Manchester Community College Foundation awarded scholarships to more than 160 students for the Fall 2015 semester.

The scholarship presentation was held Tuesday evening, May 26, in the SBM Charitable Foundation building auditorium. A reception for the recipients and their families followed in the building’s atrium.

“This evening, as we celebrate our success, we share our gratitude and also our sense of responsibility,” she said. “Let’s remember that the best way to make our families, donors and MCC proud is to make a difference with our education. As we go forward, let’s give back to our communities and be the change we want to see in the world.”

Reynolds added, “Words cannot express my deepest gratitude to the donors who extend their generosity to us as students.”

MCC Foundation gives hundreds of deserving students the opportunity to achieve their academic dreams through the scholarship program. In addition, the Foundation supports college programs.
