The Excellence in Service Award went to Boto, of Manchester, assistant director of educational technology, for his dedication to assisting the MCC community in training on academic software, uploading critical classroom and course content information for online student access, and assisting other technical issues.
Kim, of Glastonbury, professor of communications, was selected for the Excellence in Teaching award for helping students achieve their personal goals in the field of communications. His classes are vibrant and hands-on, and his support for an enjoyable learning environment on campus is underscored through his commitment to serving as academic advisor to the college radio station, ICE Radio, and co-advisor to the newly organized ICE TV student club.
