MCC to Hold Open House November 5
Manchester Community College will hold an Open House on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the Great Path Academy Gymnasium on the MCC campus. The event is for new, returning, and transfer students, as well as their families. This Open House, which is free, is open to anyone interested in MCC. This includes traditional as well as non-traditional students, military veterans, and adults in transition or people interested in making career changes or boosting their employability. Visitors will be able to collect information on the college’s more than 70 degree and certificate programs, as well as offer special workshops on admission and financial aid.
Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. Anyone who preregisters will be automatically entered to win an iPad mini or a $100 discount on a credit-free programs course in the Continuing Education division.
College faculty, staff and student ambassadors will be on hand to answer questions about hundreds of online, hybrid and classroom courses. Anyone interested in accelerated 8- and 12-week credit courses, as well as MCC’s winter program, will find a wealth of information to help them make up their minds about the best way to fashion a successful student career.
There will also be special workshops on the admission process, paying for college and health careers, as well as managing school, work and family.
For more information, call 860-512-3210 or visit the website to pre-register. Plenty of free parking is available in the college’s East Lot. Light refreshments will be served.
