Manchester Community College Foundation Appoints Samoncik to Board

Manchester Community College Foundation recently appointed Linda Samoncik of The Phoenix Companies, Inc. to its board of directors.

Samoncik, second vice president for strategy and business development at Phoenix, is responsible for all market and industry research supporting strategic planning and development for the Phoenix’s life insurance and annuity product lines.

A 25-year veteran of Phoenix, she has served in varied and increasingly senior positions. In 2012, Samoncik served as the chair of Phoenix’s annual Greater Hartford Arts Council campaign. She has also volunteered her time at MANNA Community Meals in Hartford and she was a multiyear volunteer for Home & Community Hospice in Enfield. She holds a bachelor of science degree from the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania.
