Legislative Breakfast Meeting at MCC

A breakfast for area legislators was held on November 30, hosted by MCC’s legislative advocacy committee, the MCC Foundation and the college’s Regional Advisory Committee. The roundtable discussions focused on budget allocation methodology, community engagement and private funding & grants, the education/facilities master plan and the Downtown Manchester partnership, manufacturing programs at MCC and the upcoming NEASC reaccreditation. Eight legislators were in attendance; they were joined by six MCC students who assisted the facilitators in presenting the impact on students that proposed programs will have.
