Grant from Bank of America Charitable Foundation Helps Support MCC Vets

Bank of America Charitable Foundation has contributed a $2,500 grant to the MCC Foundation for the college’s veterans services, including its OASIS center, scholarships and other support services. MCC serves nearly 300 veteran students each year, more than any other Connecticut community college, and has been repeatedly named to the Military Friendly schools list, which honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans and spouses . Bank of America’s support will help sustain and bolster veteran support, with the goal of improving academic outcomes.
