Dehn Gallery Presents “222” – Artwork by MCC Visual Fine Arts Faculty, Alumni and Students

MANCHESTER, Conn. (January 31, 2018) – MCC ’s Adolph and Virginia Dehn Gallery, which is curated by MCC Visual Fine Arts Professor Susan Classen-Sullivan, Instructor Brett Eberhardt and a small group of students through their experiential course on gallery management, will hold an opening reception for the exhibition, “222,” Friday, February 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. The curators and the artists will be available to talk about their work.

The exhibition runs through March 30 and is a showcase for Visual Fine Arts faculty along with a past and present student of each participating faculty member. All of the artists – faculty, students and alumni – will each exhibit two pieces. The art was selected by Classen-Sullivan and Eberhardt, working with their gallery management students. The show is free and open to the public.

About the Adolf & Virginia Dehn Gallery – The art gallery at Work_Space is named in memory of the Dehns by the Adolf and Virginia Dehn Foundation. The Dehn Foundation was established by Virginia Dehn to promote the arts, and it is now administered by Virginia’s niece and nephews whose father, Frederick Lowe, Jr., served as Manchester Community College’s first president.
