Current Dehn Visiting Artist Series Hosts Photographer and Curator

Monday, December 1, the Adolf and Virginia Dehn Foundation hosted photographer David Hilliard in the second event of the visiting artist series in Great Path Academy (GPA) Community Commons on the MCC campus. The first visiting artist, independent art curator Meredyth Moses, appeared prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, on Tuesday, November 18. The foundation has generously supported the MCC visiting artist program for several years.

Hilliard’s work can be found in important collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. He has taught at Yale, Massachusetts College of Art and currently teaches at Harvard.

For those interested in learning more about Moses’ work, she is an independent curator, lecturer, panelist and juror and was the founder and director of the Clark Gallery in Lincoln, Ma. She has curated multiple exhibits throughout New England.
