Cougars Win Two Weekend games

FRANKLIN, MA – The MCC women’s soccer team received a goal from Michelle Magora (Enfield) five minutes into the game another from Jessica Arias (Manchester) with six minutes to play to beat Dean College (2-5-1) 2-0 Sunday afternoon. Michelle Kerr (Rockville) made three saves while turning in her second shutout of the season for MCC (3-4-1).

On Saturday afternoon, nine different players scored as Manchester CC defeated Lincoln College (0-4) 10-0 in a Region 21 Division III game. Caitie Sutherland (Somers) had a goal and two assists, Karen Liu (Naperville, Ill) scored two goals and Michelle Magora (Enfield) and Jessica Arias (Manchester) combined for the shutout.
