Cougars Fall to Holyoke 4-1

Holyoke CC scored twice in each half to beat MCC 4-1 Tuesday afternoon in Manchester.

MCC’s Ilyssa Riley (Enfield) scored her team leading fourth goal of the season, cutting the deficit to 2-1 with 20 minutes to play. But Holyoke answered back with goals in the 74th and 77th minutes to put the game on ice.

Rockville’s Michelle Kerr, made 10 saves for MCC (2-3). Holyoke (4-3), the defending Region 21 Champions, took 22 shots on goal to Manchester’s seven.

The Cougars travel to Springfield Tech on Thursday for a 4 pm game.
