Manchester Community College recently initiated fifteen students into the Lambda Epsilon chapter of Alpha Mu Gamma, the national collegiate foreign language honor society.

Jacquelin (Jackie) Jackter, was one of eleven students from Connecticut’s community and junior colleges recognized as a member of the All-Connecticut Academic Team at an awards ceremony last month at the State Capitol Building.

The Alpha Upsilon Alpha chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Manchester Community College (MCC) was recently recognized for outstanding achievement and earned three awards.

Julie Larkin, outgoing New England Region President and Vice-President of Alpha Upsilon Alpha chapter at MCC, received the Distinguished Regional Officer Award at the Phi Theta Kappa International Convention.

Jesse Ryan Parrott, a Manchester Community College student, was among the twenty-one students honored in April by the Connecticut General Assembly during the 15th Annual College Academic Day celebration at the State Capitol Building.

MCC’s 20th Wine Auction a Success. Live auction and silent auction items included vacations, weekend getaways, original works of art and gift certificates for trips, restaurants and services. This gala event funds scholarships and provides enhancements for college programs.

Art Start is a collaborative art education and service learning project sponsored by the Manchester Office of Neighborhoods and Families, Manchester Youth Services Bureau, and Manchester Community College in cooperation with Nathan Hale Elementary School.

The 20th anniversary of An Evening of Fine Wines will be held Friday, April 27th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
