MCC is offering a range of accelerated classes starting January 21, February 7 and March 21, 2022. Presented in 12-week (February 7) and 8-week (January 21 and/or March 21) formats, these accelerated classes allow students to earn needed credits in a compressed time frame. A variety of modalities is available to suit students’ schedules and learning preferences.

The next available session is Wednesday, December 8, from 5 to 6 p.m. Other available sessions follow at various dates and times throughout December.

Three-credit courses are available in the subject areas of accounting, art, astronomy, business, communications, computers, digital arts, English composition, finance, health, history, human services, management, marketing, philosophy, psychology, sociology and others.

Manchester Community College staff will help students enroll for the Winter 2021 and Spring 2022 semester on Saturday, December 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Student Services Center. Phone appointments will also be available.

Prospective students with work experience or related training in the criminal justice field may be eligible to receive academic credit for their experiences, putting them on the fast track to completion at Manchester Community College. MCC’s criminal justice degree and certificate programs prepare students for career opportunities in the criminal justice field, as well as transfer to bachelor’s degree programs.

Manchester Community College will hold a free online information session Tuesday, November 30, from 4 to 5 p.m., for students interested in the Disabilities Specialist program.

Students interested in a career involving graphic design can pursue their goals with an associate degree at Manchester Community College.

Participants will receive an overview of the admission and financial aid processes, program offerings, transfer options and various resources available to students. Each session will also include time for questions and answers following the presentation.
