Manchester Community College’s Continuing Education division will offer a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification preparation course as part of its Summer 2017 catalog.

Manchester Community College has announced the Class of 2017 recipients of the Regional Advisory Council and President’s Student Awards. Margery Booker is the Regional Advisory Council Award winner and the President’s Student Award goes to Stephanie Delgado.

Manchester Community College will present Barry Kelly, president and CEO of Kelser Corporation, with an associate degree in humane letters honoris causa at the college’s 53rd Commencement Ceremony.

Lucy Hurston ’93, department chair of sociology, has been named the 2017-2018 faculty fellow for community engagement. In this role, Professor Hurston succeeds Professor Megan Finley, who served with distinction as the faculty fellow from 2015 to 2017.

More than 70 MCC students were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the oldest and largest international honor society serving two-year colleges.

Epsilon Pi Tau, the international honor society that recognizes current and future leaders in technology professions, inducted 14 new Manchester Community College students.

MCC Visual Fine Arts student Aaron Burleson and MCC alumna Judy Konopka ’15 each received a merit scholarship for $22,000 over the course of four years.

This award recognizes employees whose performance exemplifies excellence in teaching, leadership and administration.
