Accelerated Spring 2021 Classes Begin February 5 at MCC
MCC is offering a range of accelerated classes starting February 5 and March 22. Presented in 12-week (February 5) and 8-week (March 22) formats, these accelerated classes allow students to earn needed credits in a compressed time frame.
First-Time Donors Help MCC Foundation Boost Support for Students
MCC Foundation starts the year off by acknowledging the collective gifts of more than 80 first-time donors. Their gifts contributed a total of $45,000 in additional funds available to support Manchester Community College students with scholarships and emergency assistance.
Gene Haas Foundation Donates $15,000 in Scholarship Funds for MCC Precision Manufacturing Students
The scholarships, managed by MCC Foundation, are based on merit and will be awarded to precision manufacturing students to cover tuition, books and supplies that students are required to provide, such as personal tooling.

MCC Announces Free Workshops Starting January 27 for People Interested in Sharpening Job-Search Skills
The January 27 session runs from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and focuses on effective resume writing. This workshop will provide information on the skills and strategies needed to develop a visually appealing, competitive resume that gets positive response from employers. Additional sessions in effective resume writing run through February.

This Saturday, January 9, Manchester Community College is offering guidance by appointment to help students with registration for the Spring 2021 semester. The event is an opportunity for students to finish the registration process – meet with an advisor and handle other last-minute details to be ready to start the semester.
