The awards for Distinguished Alumni, Excellence in Teaching, Volunteer Service and Outstanding Business Partner will be presented on May 7.

MCC’s Institute on Disability and Community Inclusion hosted its annual Rosemary and Gunnar Dybwad seminar and award ceremony. The event focuses on advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities.

New Program Empowers Students to Become Business Owners.

MCC students Daniel Lolos of East Hampton and Marcia Perugini of Tolland have each been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.

Prospective students can meet MCC faculty, staff and students and get a first-hand look at state-of-the-art facilities, competitive courses and program offerings.

The international certification authorizes the college’s Tutoring Center to certify tutors that have completed the CRLA-certified Level 1 training program.

MCC student Sarah Fernandez, of Norwich along with 12 other students from the Connecticut Community College’s physical therapist assistant degree program, were honored in a pinning ceremony.
