An Evening of Fine Wines Tickets on Sale

Tickets are currently on sale for the 14th Annual “An Evening of Fine Wines,” sponsored by Manchester Community College Foundation, Inc. The event will be held on Friday, April 7 from 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. at the Arts, Sciences and Technology Center at MCC.

WFSB Channel 3 Meteorologist Scot Haney is the guest emcee and Dona D. Young, Chairman, President and CEO of The Phoenix Companies, Inc. is this year’s honorary chairperson.

The annual gala event combines a wine tasting and live wine auction with a silent auction of non-wine items to raise funds for scholarships and programs at the College. The event will feature more than 100 different wines from around the world with at least 25 tasting tables.

Each guest will receive a complimentary wine tasting glass for sampling the wines on display. Hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening; coffee and a Viennese table of desserts will be served at the conclusion of the auction. A silent auction of merchandise and gift certificates including vacations and weekend getaways, original works of art, gift certificates for trips, restaurants and services will precede the main auction.

Tickets are $70 per person and must be purchased in advance.
