Accelerated Spring 2022 Classes at MCC to Begin February 7 and March 21

MANCHESTER, Conn. (January 25, 2022) – Manchester Community College offers select Spring 2022 courses on an accelerated schedule to help students meet their educational goals and finish their degree work faster.

MCC is offering a range of accelerated classes starting February 7 and March 21, 2022. Presented in 12-week (February 7) and 8-week (March 21) formats, these accelerated classes allow students to earn needed credits in a compressed time frame. A variety of modalities is available to suit students’ schedules and learning preferences.

The listing of open courses can be found at www.manchestercc.edu/search-for-courses, Under “Title,” look for those classes marked 12wk and 8wk2. Current students can immediately choose from any of the accelerated spring courses. New and transfer students should apply to the college now; visit www.manchestercc.edu/enrollment to get started. Scholarship funding may be available. Available classes include these topics: accounting, art history, astronomy, business office technology, English composition, English as a Second Language, graphic design, health and physical education, history, humanities, manufacturing, music, political science and others.

While the number of class meetings for accelerated courses is fewer than the regular spring semester, students should be aware that each course contains the same number of class hours as the regular semester. As a result, the level of study is much more intensive and demanding of time. Students should consider this in planning their course selections.
