Accelerated Fall 2021 Classes Begin September 9 at MCC to Help Students Finish Faster

MANCHESTER, Conn. (August 26, 2021) – Manchester Community College offers select Fall 2021 courses on an accelerated schedule to help students meet their educational goals and finish their degree work faster.

MCC is offering a range of accelerated classes starting September 9 and October 18. Presented in 12-week (September 9) and 8-week (October 18) formats, these accelerated classes allow students to earn needed credits in a compressed time frame. A variety of modalities is available to suit students’ schedules and learning preferences.

The listing of open courses can be found at www.manchestercc.edu/search-for-courses, Under “Title,” look for those classes marked 12wk and 8wk2. Current students can immediately choose from any of the accelerated fall courses. New and transfer students should apply to the college now; visit www.manchestercc.edu/enrollment to get started. Scholarship funding may be available. Available classes include these disciplines: accounting, art, business management, business office technology, communication and speech, criminal justice, computer technology,  economics, engineering science, hospitality management, manufacturing, music, political science, psychology and many others.

While the number of class meetings for accelerated courses is fewer than the regular fall semester, students should be aware that each course contains the same number of class hours as the regular semester. As a result, the level of study is much more intensive and demanding of time. Students should consider this in planning their course selections.
