Juvenile Offenders and the Criminal Justice System: A Discussion of Childhood Crime and What Happens After. February 12, 12:30-2:00 p.m., Great Path Academy Community Commons. In conjunction with this year’s Common Read selection of The Other Wes Moore, by Wes Moore, MCC Assistant Professor Katy Kleis will present a lecture and discussion about juvenile offenders.

Love, Work and Knowledge – The Life and Trials of Wilhelm Reich. February 17, 2-4:30 p.m., Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Aetna Theater, 600 Main Street, Hartford. Learn about renowned psychoanalyst, outspoken anti-Nazi and author of Mass Psychology of Fascism, Wilhelm Reich. This documentary is co-directed by Kevin Hinchey, an adjunct faculty member teaching film study at MCC, who helped administrate Reich’s papers at Harvard. Admission is $10.
