MCC Alumni Association to Hold Alumni Dinner and Awards Ceremony

MANCHESTER, Conn. (November 1, 2018) – The Manchester Community College Alumni Association will hold its annual dinner and award ceremony Tuesday, November 13, from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. in the Student Services Center atrium.

The event is open to the public, especially MCC alumni and their guests. The cost is $10 per person. Reservations can be made online with a credit card or by mailing a check payable to MCC Foundation to MCC Alumni Association, Great Path, MS 6, Manchester, CT 06040. A reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres at 6:15 will be followed by a buffet dinner at 7. The dinner will be prepared and served buffet-style by MCC’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management students.

“The alumni dinner is always a fun event,” said Tina Carnelli ’99, marketing manager, Morris Group, who serves as chair of the MCC Foundation alumni committee. “My husband and I treat it as an annual ‘date night’ where we can enjoy great food and wine and reconnect with fellow MCC alumni. We love seeing old friends and making new ones.”

The 2018 Alumni of the Year will be introduced and celebrated over coffee and dessert. This recognition is bestowed annually on MCC alumni who have achieved outstanding levels of success in their careers and have brought credit to themselves and MCC through their accomplishments.
