MCC’s Classical Cuisine Dinner Supports the College’s Hospitality Student Clubs and Competition Teams
Manchester, Conn. (November 17, 2017) — Following Thanksgiving, keep the holiday spirit going with a lavish Russian-style meal and paired beverages at Manchester Community College. Tuesday, December 5, beginning at 6 p.m., students from MCC’s award-winning culinary arts program will prepare and serve a seven-course gourmet meal featuring gravlax and caviar, roasted beet borscht, short rib of beef stroganov, lemon sorbet, fish, and bird’s milk cake for dessert.
The special evening will take place in the dining room of the college’s Culinary Arts Center located on the second floor of the Student Services Center. This is the first year that the students are preparing a Russian-style meal. All proceeds from the dinner benefit hospitality student clubs and competition teams.

The Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management department at Manchester Community College offers students a choice of degree and certificate programs in the areas of culinary arts, foodservice and hotel-tourism. Both the Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management associate in science degree programs have been granted exemplary status by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF). This distinction is a guarantee to students that their program has met or exceeded the standards set by the ACF Accrediting Commission and the foodservice industry.
