Manchester Community College is now CT State Manchester!
Credits earned at this stage of education can be applied to a CT State Manchester degree program or be transferred to another college/university. Depending on the number of credits earned, students can graduate with a college degree and pursue a career earlier, being more marketable to employers. In addition, high school students add a different perspective to the classroom, enriching the education of others.
To be eligible to take a courses, a few requirements must first be met:
Requirements
- Be in the junior or senior year of high school.
- Complete an application.
- Demonstrate eligibility with either a high school transcript, SAT/ACT scores, AP scores if applicable, or assessment testing.
Registration
- High school students can only register after speaking with Cat Carter.
- Students may take up to eight credits, or two classes, per semester.
- High school students can take classes during any semester (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) on campus or online. Eligible tuition waiver will only be applied during the fall and spring semesters.
- Once eligibility is approved, you may register at any time.
Cost
Students are required to pay tuition and fees in full, as well as any costs associated, textbooks, supplies and transportation. Students in the College Career Pathways and High School Partnership programs receive a tuition waiver with approval during the fall and spring semesters.
Transfer Credit
Earned credits can be applied to an CT State Manchester degree program or transferred to another institution. Submit a transcript request through myCommNet to have a transcript sent electronically or via mail through Parchment. Official transcripts are processed free of charge.
