Become a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer at MCC

Manchester, Conn. (January 14, 2016) –Students interested in a career in fitness can begin the credit-free Personal Trainer National Certification course this winter. The course runs six Saturdays, January 30 through March 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The weekly meeting schedule is great for college students, adults seeking supplemental employment opportunities and those seeking re-entrance to the workforce.

Ann Bonney, director of Credit-Free programs reports, “Students are attracted to working in a positive, health-oriented environment, while helping others to achieve their health goals and making a difference.” The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that fitness trainers and instructors can average $16.82 per hour and $34,980 per year.
