Free Info Sessions to Explore Credit-Free Health Career Certifications
Manchester, Conn. (August 10, 2015) – Manchester Community College will showcase the credit-free certificate programs in Allied Health with free information sessions August 25 through 27 for students interested in beginning this fall.
The topics for the scheduled upcoming information sessions include Veterinary Assistant, Pharmacy Technician Certification, Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Training, and Phlebotomy: the Art of Drawing Blood. These Continuing Education courses prepare students to compete in a job market within a few months, a shorter time than the college’s degree programs. Certificate holders can use their credentials to find paying positons while moving forward with their degrees or pursuing their careers.
The Veterinary Assistant session will be held on Tuesday, August 25, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and presented by Lynne M. Zelinsky, DVM, Erin Jackson, CVT, and Denise Champagne, CVT. To register for the free information session, call 860-512-3232 and reference CRN 20624.

The Certified Phlebotomy information session will also be held on Thursday, August 27 , from 6 to 7:30 p.m. There will be a presentation by instructor Donna Daniels, MBA, MHA, FACHE and Kim E.S.
