Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in photography, or a related art discipline required.  Experience with digital cameras, Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud and Apple computers.

An understanding of the mission of the community college and a demonstrated ability to respond to and work with multiple constituencies and involvement in support of a culturally and ethnically diverse population are required.

Responsibilities

Seeking a part time lecturer to teach Digital Photography I, an intro level hands-on studio art course that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays (starting in late August) 3-6 PM.   The course covers camera controls, image capture and storage, exposure, composition, light, DOF, motion, and extensive image editing using  Photoshop.  Students are assigned shooting and editing projects, a short paper and have quizzes.  Students use their own cameras.  Course is taught in a Mac lab on new iMacs.


Minimum Salary/Compensation

$1,546 – $1,663 per semester contact hour
