Roundtable Discussion on Higher Education and Connecticut Women

Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman has chaired a series of roundtables across the state as a follow up to the task force created in 2013 by Governor Dannel P. Malloy. The task force, headed by the state’s labor and economic development agencies, is studying the gender wage gap in Connecticut and will make recommendations to eliminate wage disparity.  On Wednesday morning, July 2, Wyman and MCC President Gena Glickman invited members of the faculty and staff to participate in a discussion in GPA Community Commons about Connecticut women and higher education.

The invitation-only forum served as a platform for MCC voices to be heard and to encourage an open exchange of ideas, concerns and solutions.
