MCC Open House Welcomes Hundreds of Future Students

More than 500 students and their families turned out for the Manchester Community College Open House.  The event for new, returning and potential transfers was held Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in the Great Path Academy Gymnasium on the MCC campus.

The Open House provided information on the college’s more than 90 degree and certificate programs, with special workshops offered on admission and financial aid, and small-group tours of campus facilities conducted throughout the afternoon.

Most important was the opportunity to interact with MCC faculty, deans, administrators, staff – and other MCC students — and engage in conversation about the many ways an academic experience at the college changes lives for the better.

“Attendees saw the best of MCC ,” said Jason Scappaticci, who co-chaired the Open House event with Joe Mesquita.  Our entire team turned out, faculty, staff and students, to show why MCC is an awesome place to get an education.”
