• This is the 49th annual commencement at Manchester Community College.
• 912 associate in science degrees, associate in art degrees and certificates are being awarded.
• There are 864 graduates; 44 students will receive multiple degrees and certificates.
• The youngest graduate is 18; the oldest is 67.
• Fifty nine percent of the graduates are women.
• Graduates are from 83 towns across Connecticut and ten other states.
• 744 associate in science degrees, 58 associate in art degrees and 110 certificates are being awarded.
• The largest field of study was General Studies, in which 264 A.S. degrees are being awarded.
• 258 graduates received academic honors: 41 were named summa cum laude; 73, magna cum laude; and 144, cum laude.
Students of any age who possess the desire to pursue higher education are welcome at Manchester Community College. MCC is proud of its academic excellence, new facilities, flexible schedules, small classes, low tuition and faculty with both academic and “real world” credentials. The college offers over 60 programs, transfer options, financial aid and scholarships, as well as access to baccalaureate degrees through guaranteed admissions programs with several universities. It is the home of Great Path Academy, a middle college high school, serving grades 9-12. MCC is situated on a park-like campus and is easily accessible from I-84.
