Congressman John Larson At MCC on August 23

Congressman John Larson is conducting a two part series on Manufacturing Jobs in Connecticut and held the first session at MCC on August 23. The topic was a discussion on the health of manufacturing in Connecticut. The following presentors were part of the program: Lei Chen, PHd, Research Fellow, American Institute for Economic Research; Dr. Fred Carstensen, DIrector, Connecticut Center of Economic Analysis, University of Connecticut; Elliot Ginsberg, CEO, Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology and Thomas Mayes, Vice -President Manufacturing Programs-Commercial Engines, Pratt and Whitney. The second part of the series will be held at Tunxis Community College on August 29.
