Sutherland Plays Homerun Derby in 24 -9 Win at Dean

FRANKLIN, MA – Jesse Sutherland (Montville) had two homeruns and 10 RBI to lead Manchester CC (14-21) to a 24-9 road victory over Dean College (15-13) Wednesday afternoon.

Alec Brown (Montville) hit his second homer in as many days and Kevin Madera (Newington) added a grand slam while A.J. Silberman (Meriden) was 4 for 5 with five runs scored. Sutherland has five homeruns and 16 RBI over two MCC victories.

Tyler Kapushinski (New Britain) picked up the win in relief with 1.3 scoreless innings.

MCC will host doubleheaders on Friday (1PM vs Bunker Hill CC; Saturday (Noon vs Eastern Connecticut JV) and Sunday (Noon, New Hampshire College JV)
