CCRI Shuts out MCC 5-0

MANCHESTER – CC of Rhode Island (4-2-1) scored three times in the first half and added a pair in the second half to beat Manchester CC (1-4-1) Thursday afternoon.

Five different players scored for the Knights while Michelle Kerr (Rockville) and Jessica Arias (Manchester) combined for four saves for the Cougars.

CCRI outshot MCC 12-8. Melody lawrence made three saves for the visitors

MCC hosts Lincoln College of New England(formerly known as Briarwood College) Saturday afternoon at noon. On Sunday the team travels to Franklin, MA to play Dean College at 1PM.
